Dear Green Cooling Community,

Our newsletter has got a makeover! Despite the new look we remain true to our content line. We would like to keep you informed about our current project activities, new publications and exciting events in the field of Green Cooling. In this newsletter we would like to draw your attention to the 'Call for project ideas' of the GIZ programme Project ideas can be submitted until 31 December to apply for technical and financial support of up to 2 million euros. A digital information event will take place on 12 November.

We would also like to draw your attention to a background article on Ghana. The trade with used refrigerators, which often consume a lot of energy and contain environmentally harmful substances, is prohibited there. Nevertheless, there is still a black market - we have researched how Ghana tackles the problem and how behavioural research could help.

Enjoy reading and stay healthy and cool,
Your GCI (GIZ Proklima) Team
