Dear Green Cooling community,
New year, new formats! Inspired by the current virtual way of living and working, we are starting into spring with new digital events.
Two examples: In April, our SPODS Technology Roadshow kicks off with a video tour of Latin American, Caribbean and European sustainable refrigeration companies, followed by live discussions. The SPODS project is co-financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU). At the end of May, together with the German Environment Agency and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), we are jointly hosting the three-day virtual Green Cooling Summit on managing the HFC phase-down with natural refrigerants. Certainly, not everything can be replaced digitally. Especially in the training of refrigeration technicians, the practical parts are very important. But even in this area, we can now conduct smaller training courses again, in accordance with special hygiene measures. I hope that we all emerge stronger from this crisis. In this spirit, I wish you a bright, warm and beautiful springtime.
Stay healthy & stay cool,
 Bernhard Siegele
